Question

How long does stem cell therapy for COPD & Lung Disease last?

Durable functional or structural lung benefit has not been established for a generic cell or exosome product. Temporary biomarker, symptom or spirometry change does not show regenerated lung tissue or fewer future exacerbations.

How stem cells are studied for COPD & Lung Disease

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is persistent airflow limitation associated with airway and lung-tissue damage, commonly from smoking or other exposures. MSC and exosome research explores inflammatory and repair pathways, but intravenous distribution, laboratory signalling or an imaging change does not establish restored alveoli, improved survival or prevention of exacerbations.
