Who we are & our independence

StemCellAtlas is a stem-cell therapy comparison and cost resource produced in partnership with Stem Plus Clinic (Sofia, Bulgaria). Enquiries are routed to the partner clinic. That commercial relationship is disclosed openly so readers can judge the information and verify claims independently.

How we source information

• Primary sources first. Clinical context is checked against ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA and EMA regulatory information, ISSCR patient guidance, and peer-reviewed literature indexed by PubMed.
• Cost observations are published only when the exact source, date, currency, quoted scope and exclusions can be retained. Heterogeneous quotations are not presented as equivalent treatments or clinical comparisons.
• We do not use patient testimonials or before/after images as evidence of efficacy.

Evidence review

Condition pages link to regulatory guidance, trial registries and research databases. A named medical-review claim is published only when a specific clinician has reviewed that specific content and the review date is recorded. Until that record exists, the page is labelled as editorial information rather than medically reviewed content.

The partner clinic publishes its clinical team on its healthcare-professionals page; listing a clinician there is not treated as proof that the clinician reviewed this atlas.

Our honesty standard

• We state clearly that most stem-cell therapies are investigational, not approved cures, and we show the approval status per condition.
• We treat any specific high “success rate” as a red flag — there is no regulator-verified figure for most uses, and we say so on our success-rates hub.
• We lead with what the evidence actually supports, including when conventional treatment is the better choice.

Updates & corrections

Review and modification dates are shown only when a corresponding content or evidence review is recorded. Trial counts and cost data carry their own “as of” period. Spotted an error? Email stemplusclinic@stemcellatlas.com and we will review and correct it, noting material changes.
