Question

What is the recovery time after stem cell therapy for Multiple Sclerosis?

A simple infusion and AHSCT have radically different recovery. AHSCT may involve conditioning, profound immune suppression and extended monitoring; a commercial same-day infusion cannot claim the same evidence. Follow the exact protocol and MS team's advice.

What the evidence shows for Multiple Sclerosis

AHSCT has been studied for selected people with highly active inflammatory MS, while its risks include those of intensive conditioning and immune suppression. NIH describes AHSCT as an experimental approach being compared with best available biologic therapy in severe relapsing MS. MSC, neural-cell and exosome proposals have different and generally earlier evidence. See the NINDS MS research overview and verify the exact protocol.
