How stem cells are studied for Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is persistent kidney damage or reduced filtration caused by diabetes, hypertension, immune, genetic, obstructive and other disorders. Cell and exosome research explores inflammatory, vascular and repair mechanisms, but a laboratory signal does not establish restored nephron number, delayed kidney failure or avoidance of dialysis or transplantation.
