Question

What is the recovery time after stem cell therapy for Chronic Kidney Disease?

Procedural recovery may be brief, but CKD requires ongoing monitoring and medicine adjustment. Do not stop kidney-protective treatment without the responsible clinician; rapidly falling urine output, severe swelling, breathlessness, confusion or chest symptoms require urgent care.

What the evidence shows for Chronic Kidney Disease

Evidence is investigational and must match CKD cause and stage, exact product, route, comparator and clinically meaningful kidney and cardiovascular outcomes. The NIDDK CKD management guide emphasises blood-pressure and diabetes control, prescribed medicines, monitoring, nutrition and preparation for kidney replacement therapy when needed. An experimental infusion must not delay those measures.
