Question

Is stem cell therapy for Stroke Recovery worth it?

Outside an authorised trial, current evidence does not support paying for a cell or exosome product as established stroke recovery treatment. Independent stroke and rehabilitation specialists should compare the exact protocol with evidence-based rehabilitation and secondary prevention.

How stem cells are studied for Stroke Recovery

Stroke causes focal brain injury from blocked blood flow or bleeding. Cell research explores immune modulation, trophic support and neural repair, but intravenous MSCs, neural progenitors, exosomes and intracerebral products are different interventions. None should be described as replacing lost brain tissue or guaranteeing restored movement, speech or cognition.
