Question

What is the recovery time after stem cell therapy for Psoriasis?

Recovery and adverse effects depend on the exact investigational product and route, so claims of minimal downtime, a predictable flare or a standard improvement timeline are unsafe. Trial documents should describe administration, observation, infection and immune monitoring, emergency arrangements and follow-up. New or worsening skin or systemic symptoms require clinical assessment rather than being labelled an expected response.

What the evidence shows for Psoriasis

Human psoriasis studies of MSCs and related products are small and heterogeneous. Changes in PASI components, symptoms or biomarkers have not established comparative efficacy against modern approved systemic treatments. Cross-study comparisons with anti-TNF, anti-IL-17 or anti-IL-23 medicines are not reliable without appropriate randomised controls. No pooled response rate is published here because product, dose, route, comparator and follow-up differ too widely for a single figure to be meaningful. The registered studies and their own prespecified endpoints are listed in the registry table on this page.
