Question

What is the recovery time after stem cell therapy for Long COVID?

An infusion may have brief procedural recovery, but long-COVID symptoms and exertional tolerance require individual monitoring. Avoid a fixed exercise or recovery schedule and seek urgent care for severe breathing, chest, neurological or clotting symptoms.

What the evidence shows for Long COVID

Cell-product evidence remains investigational and must specify case definition, prior illness, phenotype, exact product, route, comparator, validated symptom and function outcomes, safety and follow-up. The FDA regenerative-medicine patient page states that these therapies have not been approved in the United States for treatment or prevention of COVID-19 or its complications. A registry entry or biomarker change is not efficacy.
