No universal success rate exists. Hair cycles, photography and concurrent treatment can bias results; review diagnosis, exact product, comparator, standardised hair density or count, patient-reported benefit, adverse events and complete follow-up.

What the evidence shows for Hair Loss & Restoration

The diagnosis and risk of permanent follicle loss should be established before an experimental procedure. Studies must match the exact product, processing, route, hair-loss diagnosis, comparator, standardised photography, hair counts, patient-reported outcomes and follow-up. FDA has stated that there are no FDA-approved exosome products and has reported serious adverse events from unapproved products. Evidence from platelet-rich plasma, transplantation surgery or an authorised medicine cannot validate a cell or exosome preparation.
